Kathleen Grosch, Executive Pastry Chef

With a diverse background including experience in medicine and cultural foods, Kathleen Grosch has brought profound talent to Geisha restaurant. As a result of traveling, Kathleen has had the opportunity to explore the cultural traditions of food. This is evident in the creations of her unique desserts and pastries. Kathleen's passion for different cultures has channeled her to the study of teas, which today plays an integral part in her dessert creations.

Kathleen studied at the French Culinary Institute, then worked in the kitchen of her mentor, Viki Wells, at Mesa Grill and the Water Club.

Today Kathleen works as Executive Pastry Chef at Geisha. She utilizes her education and understanding of teas, sake and the freshest ingredients as she engages them into various desserts, such as truffles, sorbets, and Asian themed desserts. Her comprehensive knowledge of different ingredients enables her to make creative desserts that are extremely sensual and contain a variety of textures.
